Steel Blue was started by Australian designer Perry Meek who now calls Los Angeles, California his home. A former world competitive athlete who has been designing for over 10 years he has, in addition to his succesful P-Wear swimsuit label, put his costume and clothing design skills to good use by working on projects for many high profile people including Cher, Janet Jackson, Toni Braxton, Eminem, Natalie Cole and Pamela Lee Anderson to name but a few. In addition to designing outfits for various world and Olympic figure skating champions, he also has many show and tour credits under his belt as well as designing costumes for such films as Dodgeball, Sky Captain and many TV ads.
